Centre for Governance Studies, in collaboration with the US-based organization the Center for International Private Enterprises (CIPE), has conducted research over the past two years to identify and evaluate corruption-related issues being faced by the private sector and SMEs in Bangladesh. To present the ultimate findings of the project and create a joint resolution of action, CGS is organizing a national summit on Tuesday, 21 March 2023, at 9:30 AM at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka (Grand Ballroom), 107 Kazi Nazrul Islam Ave, Dhaka 1215.

His Excellency Peter Haas, U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh will be the Guest of Honor of the event.  

Dr. Ali Riaz, Distinguished Professor, Illinois State University, USA, Ali Imam Majumder, Former Cabinet Secretary & Secretary General, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB); Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mazid, Former Chairman, National Board of Revenue; Dr. Fahmida Khatun, Economist, Executive Director, Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD); Dr. Mohammad Saleh Jahur, Professor of Accounting and Finance at University of Chittagong, Bangladesh; Md. Helaluddin, President, Bangladesh Dokan Malik Samity, Former Vice President, The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) will also be present as panelist of the event.
