Engr. Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, a mechanical engineer from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and a veteran entrepreneur, is widely recognized as one of Bangladesh's prominent and versatile business leaders. Through his entrepreneurial vision and leadership, he has made significant contributions to the country's industrial, infrastructural, and economic development.

As the Founder of MAX GROUP, Engr. Alomgir has built a diversified business conglomerate that currently provides employment to more than 8,000 people, ranging from highly qualified engineers and professionals to skilled and semi-skilled workers. Throughout his career, he has consistently emphasized the adoption of advanced technologies and international standards across his projects, manufacturing facilities, and industrial operations.

Under his leadership, MAX GROUP has developed one of the country's largest fleets of modern construction equipment, comprising more than 1,000 heavy machinery units. This extensive fleet supports the company's ability to undertake and deliver large-scale infrastructure projects with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and timely execution.

Engr. Alomgir is the founder of Max Infrastructure Limited, one of Bangladesh's leading EPCM solution providers. His business interests also extend to the power sector, with two power plants having a combined generation capacity of 242 MW. Over the years, MAX GROUP has established manufacturing facilities producing automobile leaf springs, stainless steel crockery and pipes, lubricating oil through blending facilities, and a wide range of railway track fittings, including pre-stressed concrete sleepers.

Beyond his business activities, Engr. Alomgir has played a significant role in professional and social organizations. He currently serves as the President of the Engineers Recreation Center (ERC), formerly known as Engineers Club, Dhaka. He is also the founder and inaugural President of BUET Graduates Club Limited, an organization representing graduates of BUET.

His longstanding contributions to the engineering profession, particularly to Bangladeshi engineers and Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) engineers, have earned him broad recognition within the engineering community. With more than 400 graduate engineers currently working across his various projects and manufacturing units, he continues to contribute to the development of Bangladesh's engineering, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
