Ahasan Ahmed is a Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Governance Studies (CGS). where he contributes his expertise in financial analysis, economic policy, and governance studies. With a strong foundation in data analytics and forecasting, he currently works as a Senior Financial Analyst at Indiana University Health, where he is responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights for optimizing financial planning, revenue forecasting, and strategic decision-making. His work enables the finance division to make informed, data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and support long-term planning.
He holds an MSc in Economics from Indiana University, specializing in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, and has contributed to several academic publications on artificial intelligence in finance and healthcare. Ahasan is actively involved in ongoing research on the financial pressures within the U.S. healthcare sector, exploring key challenges and policy solutions.
In addition to his professional work, Ahasan has served as Adjunct Teaching Faculty for Micro-Economics (Part-Time) at Indiana University, mentoring students in economics and statistical analysis. He has further contributed to impactful research projects and policy recommendations through his valuable insights and guidance at the Centre for Governance Studies (CGS).
